Table Rock

On July 5th, we decided to hike Table Rock. Mom, Dad, Sara and I left at 6:30 that morning to get an early start. It was kind of cloudy and hazy, but not too hot since we left so early. It even rained once on us for just a minute, but it felt really good.

Everytime I hike Table Rock, I take a timed picture with whoever I'm hiking with at the half-way shelter. I hate how you can see where my camelback has been. :-\

My Dad is crazy. (Okay, for Dad's birthday, Mom and I were thinking alike. We each-without knowing the other was getting the same thing-got him a new swimsuit because the ones he has are short and...he just needed a new swimsuit. I don't know if he has actually swam in them or not, but he wears them everywhere. He wore them the whole week on the 50 miler, around the house, working in the garage, hiking Table Rock. It's kind of tacky, especially since he always wears them with a button-up dress shirt.)

This was the first time that I hiked using hiking poles. They were great. We decided we all looked dorky with our matching poles, but it was totally worth it!

I hope Dad wasn't really as high up as he looked! Great post, Crystal!
