Baylor's 9 month well child stats:
Weight: 20 lbs 7 oz (83%)
Height: 27 3/4 inches (54%)
Head: 18 1/4 cm (97%)
This girl can get where she wants to go pretty fast...if she's in combat. Meaning she has a pretty fast army crawl. That she only does with her right leg so I call her Gimpy sometimes. The last week of the month she did finally figure out how to get up and crawl, but that is snail paced so she usually reverts to army crawling not too long after she gets started.
She is ROCKING her naps (knock on wood) and night time sleeping. We have a pretty good schedule going on: wakes up between 7 and 7:30 and eats breakfast. About 2 hours later gets a bottle and a nap. She usually sleeps 45 minutes to an hour. Lunch around 12 or 12:30 and another bottle and afternoon nap around 2:00. Usually about 1 1/2-2 hours, give or take. Supper at 5:00 and then the last bottle at about 7:15 for bedtime. We went out of town for 2 weeks and she managed to keep up a good schedule even though we were busy.
Is loving puffs now that she has finally figured out how to pick them up. :)
She likes me and Jonathan and often cries if we leave the room
Loves to climb all over Rylee and Corben...well anyone on the floor with her, really. Rylee loves this. Corben does NOT.
Still only has 2 teeth.
Pictures from this month...
Nice evening on the balcony.
First time at the beach, Dewey Beach, Delaware
Also at Dewey Beach at the hotel
2nd trip to Six Flags
Just hanging out under the table...I love her little foot.
Laughing at the dinosaur getting her
Same day, laughing in the jumparoo
3rd Trip to Six Flags...she got to ride Whistlestop Train!
I totally get it, Baylor...first time having Cold Stone!
It's hard work trying to learn to eat puffs!
Made a trip to SC...this was her face if my hand was there.
But we were traveling, so most of the time it wasn't. Plus she had a cold and this picture pretty much sums up the ELEVEN HOUR drive (and that was with Grandpa Leckie driving!" It was sad.
She liked her temporary bed in SC!
I forgot to pack a dress for Baylor for church. This is the shirt of an 18 month outfit I brought and I thought surely it would pass for a dress if worn without the shorts. Not so much.
Waking up after her nap in Relief Society
Getting the hang of those puffs!
They love each other
We borrowed a jumparoo from someone in the ward in SC and Baylor was very excited...although it was kind of new and stiff and she couldn't' really jump they way she does at the one have in Maryland.
HOT day at Furman. Plum tuckered out.
Lake at Table Rock
We went to the Greenville Zoo where I didn't get a single picture of her with an animal. But I did with Baylor through the mist stations a few times. Clearly she liked it!
Starting to at least get up on her hands and knees...progress!
She also got to swing in Grandpa's swing for the first time and of course loved it!
The last few days in SC we went to Myrtle Beach with the Ridges, Kate, and Grandma & Grandpa. Nice view. Ironically, this was right when we got there while I was unpacking. The rest of the time the curtain was closed because it's where Baylor slept. :)
This was actually the closest she got to the beach. lol
She loved chewing on this cup and would sometimes bit it really hard.
And starting to get the hang of crawling...sort of. :)
She was REALLY happy to be back home in her jumparoo!
