Mesa in February

In February, Sara and I went to Arizona to visit old roommates. I hadn't seen my friend, Beth, in four years, so it was a pretty exciting trip! We went to a Rennaisance Festival, Ikea, shopping, hiking, and just spent a lot of time visiting.

While in Arizona, Sara's friend Cyndi ran a 5K with me in Cave Creek (incidentally, for you Twilight fans, that's where Stephenie Meyer resides). It was 98% downhill resulting in my fastest 5K time ever: 28:44!

At first I wasn't too sure about the Rennaisance Festival, but it really turned out to be a lot fun. I even got to ride an elephant! Unfortunately they won't take pictures of you while you ride the elephant, so the siloutte is the closest we could come.
