Our ward no longer does a Pioneer Day activity. I'm not sure why. It has been replaced by the 4th of July ward breakfast. The breakfast is fun, but no-recognizing of Pioneer Day is really sad to me. A few years ago my mom made this dress for my niece Caitlyn to wear to the Pioneer Day activity. It fits Rylee perfectly, so she wore it to church today. (minus the bonnet...we left it at home). She would not just STAND for a picture and smile at the same time. Arg. So exasperating.
